Our Residence and Support Program
With One Heart is new non-profit that is working to put together a transitional housing program that will be unlike any other in many ways. Our main goal for the girls that will come stay with us is to provide them with a loving, nurturing home where they can feel comfortable to grow, make mistakes and develop into healthy, functional members of society.

At With One Heart, our first focus will be on the character development and emotional well-being of these girls, followed by assisting them on the right path for their future. Aside from all the practical workshops we plan to offer, we will also have talks on personal issues such as self-esteem, dating and relationships and peer pressure. And our mentor program is geared to offer more of a family-type relationship, where each girl will always have someone with an open heart ready to listen to her, no matter what it is she may need.

As we are developing With One Heart, our hope is to make it feel like a loving family and we want these youth to know that they are more than just a statistic- that they are loved and cared for, and have many people here to help them reach their goals.

As we progress as an organization and work to raise funds, our goal is to purchase a home where we can take in a small group of girls who are emancipating out of foster care, and offer them the love and support they need and haven't been receiving elsewhere.

We will offer them a home-like atmosphere, where they will experience a combination of both community as well as independent living. Each youth will have a roommate and will participate in occasional group activities with everyone in the house. There will be weekly life skills training workshops and house dinners as required parts of the program, as well as group and individual counseling and a comprehensive mentor program. We will have an on-site 24 hour RA available to assist the girls with whatever they need, and help keep them on the right path.

There are two different Resident Tracks to follow, and each resident will have the choice to decide what works best for them.
